Crandon, Ultra4 USA Series Finalize New Three-Year Partnership
Crandon International Raceway, Crandon, Wisconsin, has finalized a new three-year agreement with the Ultra4 USA series to make the Crandon Ultra4 Short Course World Championships an official part of the Ultra4 USA calendar through the 2028 season.
Under the extended partnership, Crandon will continue hosting Ultra4 USA teams and drivers from around the country in a variety of categories. Their next appearance will take place later this year during the Polaris Crandon World Championship Off-Road Races.
The 2026 Crandon appearance serves as a bonus points event for Ultra4 USA competitors. The 2027 and 2028 editions will become official rounds of the Ultra4 USA national series, awarding full championship season points and further integrating Crandon into the national Ultra4 championship schedule.
"Crandon has represented the pinnacle of off-road racing since 1970, and we have proudly showcased Ultra4 racers for years," said Crandon International Raceway President Jason Flannery. "Partnering with Ultra4 USA for the next three seasons allows us to build an even bigger stage for off-road racing's most versatile vehicles. In fact, we have already started construction on epic improvements to our Crandonland Ultracross course for this year's Polaris Crandon World Championship weekend."
Upgrades to the Crandon Ultracross course include a new tabletop jump and a new rock and dirt climb section positioned directly in front of the spectator viewing area. The new features were designed in cooperation with Ultra4 USA management to enhance both the competitive challenge for drivers and the fan experience, according to track officials.
"Ultra4 USA is excited to strengthen our relationship with Crandon and bring our competitors to one of the most iconic venues in motorsports," said Ultra4 USA Commissioner John Goodby. "This is the second largest event for Ultra4 USA outside of King of the Hammers. Crandon's legendary racing heritage, the upgraded Crandonland course, live RACER network television coverage and the energy surrounding the Polaris Crandon World Championship creates an unparalleled experience for all our competitors."
